MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market

• Vietnam Market:
  The market maintains its upward trend, supported by the 1,585-point zone despite correction pressure. Increased liquidity reflects strong supply-demand contention, but capital inflows continue to provide support. The breakout above 1,600 points is holding, and with buying pressure dominant, the market may head toward the 1,650-point area.

• US Market:
  The S&P 500 closed up 0.3% at 6,466.58, hitting a record high for the second consecutive session. The Dow Jones surged 1% (+463.66 points) to 44,922.27. The market is clearly pricing in expectations that the Fed will cut interest rates in the fall, supported by freshly released July CPI data. Optimistic investor sentiment is driving trading, providing a solid foundation for further gains.
