MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market

  • Vietnam Market:
Although the market showed signs of recovery in the previous session, it remains cautious and has pulled back to test supply and demand, with declining liquidity. The index has fallen below the MA(200) around 1,650 points but is still holding support at 1,635 points, indicating that the market has not lost balance and is currently in a consolidation phase. If capital flows remain stable, the market may have a chance to recover in the near term.
  • U.S. Market:
In the trading session on March 26, 2026, U.S. equities maintained a recovery trend but remained cautious as investors weighed interest rate outlooks and economic data. Specifically, the Dow Jones rose about 0.7%, the S&P 500 gained nearly 0.6% to around 6,620 points, while the Nasdaq increased about 0.8% to the 22,000 level.

2. Forex

  • EUR/USD: Fluctuated around 1.1600–1.1650, maintaining a technical rebound as the USD slightly weakened following weaker economic data. However, the overall trend remains range-bound without a clear direction.
  • USD/JPY: Pulled back to around 157.5–158.0, continuing its correction from recent highs due to profit-taking and concerns over potential BOJ intervention. The medium-term uptrend remains intact, though momentum has weakened.

3. Gold

Gold rebounded to around $4,450–4,550 after a sharp decline. The recovery is supported by a weaker USD and renewed safe-haven demand; however, the medium-term trend has not fully reversed and remains under pressure from elevated yields.

4. Oil

Oil prices continued to cool, trading around $85–90 (WTI) and $90–95 (Brent) as geopolitical tensions eased and profit-taking emerged after a strong rally. The short-term trend is shifting toward correction.

5. Crypto – BTC

Bitcoin traded around $68,000–70,000, showing a mild recovery after holding a key support level. However, the market remains in a weak accumulation phase, with limited capital inflows and high sensitivity to macro factors.
