Gold Stalls, Bitcoin Plunges, Wall Street Pauses: Where Is the Money Flowing?

Release Time: 10:00 AM, July 8, 2025
Publisher: Mr. Leon

MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market:

  • Vietnam Market: The market continues its upward momentum, breaking past the 1,400-point mark with improved liquidity, indicating ongoing support from capital inflows absorbing selling pressure. While some psychological resistance may arise around the 1,400 zone, the overall trend remains positive, with a near-term target at 1,420 points.

  • U.S. Market:
The S&P 500 dropped about 0.8% to 6,229.98, ending a four-session winning streak. The Nasdaq Composite and Dow Jones each fell nearly 0.9%, with the Nasdaq at 20,412.52 and the Dow at 44,406.36. A high level of caution is warranted as “risk-off” signals emerge clearly — global pressure, rising yields, and spreading tariffs. Although the decline is sharp, it hasn’t broken the long-term trend; investors may seek buying opportunities on pullbacks.

2. Forex:

  • AUD/USD: Downtrend. Sell positions may be considered today. Daily resistance: 0.65500

JM Bullion reports the current price at 3,346.91 USD/oz, up +2.61 USD compared to the previous day.

Quick Summary: Gold is trading around 3,335 USD ±10 USD/oz, with mild fluctuations as investors weigh signals from the Fed and global economic developments.

4. Oil:

  • XTI/USD: Uptrend. Buy positions may be considered today. Daily support: 67.50

5. Bitcoin:

  • Current Price: ~107,853 USD

  • Daily Range: High 109,574 USD, Low 107,590 USD

  • Change: Down approx. –1,591 USD (–1.45%)
