1. Stock Market
Vietnam Market:
The market slightly increased and remained above MA(20) with lower liquidity, showing supply cooled temporarily but inflows stayed cautious. The market continues testing balance around MA(20), though signals remain unclear. A sustainable uptrend requires stronger absorption of supply; otherwise, if demand weakens and MA(20) is lost, correction risk will rise.
US Market:
On October 1, US stocks continued to record fresh highs: S&P 500 +0.3%, Nasdaq +0.4%, Dow Jones +0.1%, despite the federal government entering shutdown. ADP employment data disappointed with a drop of 32,000 private sector jobs, pressuring bonds and fueling expectations that the Fed may cut rates soon. Amid shutdown uncertainties, investors shifted capital into healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and safe-haven assets like gold, helping gold break new records.
