1. Stock Market:
Vietnam Market:
The market maintained its upward momentum, with liquidity improving but still below the 20-session average, indicating supply pressure is not significant and capital inflows remain supportive. Breaking above MA20 opens up short-term upside opportunities, with the potential to test the 1,700 level in the coming sessions. However, this resistance zone still carries selling pressure risks, which could trigger strong volatility.
U.S. Market:
U.S. stocks continued to set new highs, with the S&P 500 up ~0.5% and Nasdaq rising ~0.9%, fueled by tech giants, particularly Alphabet and Tesla. Investors are increasingly optimistic about a Fed rate cut, as August core PPI came in lower than expected, signaling easing inflationary pressure. However, trade tensions remain a risk, especially the investigation targeting Chinese chipmakers, which could divert capital flows if tensions escalate.

December gold futures edged slightly lower due to profit-taking and a modest rebound in the U.S. dollar.
