Wall Street tumbles – Gold flat, Vietnam stocks cautious

Release Time: 10:00 AM, November 7, 2025

Released by: Ms. Jenny

MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market
Vietnam Market: The market traded cautiously and faced correction pressure. The declining liquidity indicates that cash flow remains hesitant after the rebound from the 1,600-point area. Weak demand makes it difficult to extend the recovery; the market may retest the 1,620–1,640 support zone. If this area fails to hold, a weakening trend could return.

U.S. Market: On November 6, 2025, U.S. stocks recorded notable declines: the S&P 500 dropped about 1.1% to around 6,720 points, the Nasdaq Composite fell 1.9% to 23,054 points, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.84% to 46,913 points. Investor sentiment turned cautious amid growing layoff concerns, as October job cuts reached ~153,000 positions – the highest since 2003.

2. Forex
USD/JPY: The USD remains strong but is showing signs of slowing around 153.0. A break below this level could trigger a short-term correction pattern.
GBP/USD: The pound remains weak amid a strong dollar. Support is near 1.310 – if this level breaks, the downtrend could extend further.

3. Gold
Current price: $3,995/oz. Gold remains range-bound between $3,900–$4,000/oz with no clear breakout even after the White House closure. The market continues to move sideways within a wide range.

4. Oil
Prices are holding around $59–61/barrel. Without new data or market catalysts, a further decline is possible.

5. Crypto (BTC)
The $94,000 level is being closely watched as a major resistance zone. If Bitcoin fails to hold above this level, it could drop toward the $80,000 area.
