A Turbulent Day Ahead – A Wave of Hot News Could Shake the Global Markets!

Release Time: 10:00 AM, October 6th, 2025

Issuer: Ms. Jenny

MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market:

  • Vietnam Market:
The market continued to decline with small-bodied candles, indicating that temporary recovery efforts are being limited at the MA(20) level. Liquidity slightly increased but remained low, showing that supply pressure is still dominant while supporting cash flow remains cautious. Downward pressure persists, and for the market to regain balance, it must quickly recover above MA(20) with stronger buying power.

  • U.S. Market:
On October 3rd, the U.S. market saw slight fluctuations as both the Dow Jones and S&P 500 closed at new highs, while the Nasdaq fell about 0.3% due to pressure from major tech stocks. Investors continue to expect the Fed to cut interest rates, though the government “shutdown” has delayed the release of several key economic indicators, adding uncertainty to the market.

2. Forex:

  • GBP/USD: Downtrend; short positions can be considered today around 1.34800.

  • USD/JPY: Strong volatility created a large price gap; no trading recommended today.

3. Gold:

Gold surpassed $3,900/oz, setting a new all-time high. Spot gold reached approximately $3,910.09/oz, while December futures rose about 0.7% to $3,935/oz.

Main driver: Rising safe-haven demand amid the U.S. government shutdown and expectations of further Fed rate cuts.

4. Oil:

  • XTI/USD: Short-term uptrend. Buy opportunities today with support near 60.80.

5. Crypto:

BTC continued to rally, reaching a new high above $125,000 before slightly retreating and stabilizing around $123,700. The session high reached approximately $125,264. Strong capital inflows from ETFs have supported the bullish momentum.
