Gold is facing downward pressure today.

Release Time: 10:00, October 3, 2025

Issuer: Mr. Tony

MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market

  • Vietnam Market: The market dropped below the MA(20) after a failed recovery attempt, showing increasing supply pressure while buying demand remained cautious. This reflects imbalance and rising correction risks. To regain the uptrend, the market needs to quickly reclaim the MA(20) with stronger liquidity absorption.

  • U.S. Market: On October 2, U.S. markets continued to hit fresh highs, with the S&P 500 rising ~0.1%, Nasdaq up +0.4%, and Dow Jones edging +0.2%, all setting new historical records. Capital inflows kept favoring technology stocks, especially after OpenAI announced an AI partnership with South Korea, reinforcing optimism about the AI growth trend — a major driver for the market despite ongoing shutdown concerns.

2. Forex

  • USD/JPY: Uptrend recovery, wait for correction to end before entering trades along the main trend. Daily support: 147.200.

  • GBP/USD: Downtrend, short positions may be considered. Daily resistance: 1.34700.

3. Gold

Spot gold is trading around $3,871.99/oz, staying near record highs thanks to Fed rate-cut expectations and uncertainty over a potential U.S. government shutdown. December gold futures remain stable at around $3,896.70/oz.

4. Oil

  • XTI/USD: Failed to sustain recovery uptrend; avoid trading today due to high weekend rollover costs. Daily support: 60.70, resistance: 61.70.

5. Crypto

BTC is currently priced at $120,063 USD, up ~+1.271% compared to the previous session. Daily range: $118,376 – $121,046. Over the past week, BTC has shown strong performance, rising from $109,000 to $120,000.
