U.S. Market:
U.S. stocks closed slightly lower on Friday (May 9) as investors were cautious ahead of the U.S.–China negotiations in Switzerland. The Dow Jones dropped 0.3%, the S&P 500 declined 0.1%, and the Nasdaq was flat. A proposed tariff cut by Donald Trump raised hopes of easing trade tensions. Reason:
