MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market

• Vietnam Market:
  The market temporarily corrected after three consecutive recovery sessions. Liquidity increased slightly, indicating that supply pressure is returning. However, the overall movement remains fairly balanced with no significant selling pressure, mainly due to short-term profit-taking or portfolio restructuring. The market is expected to continue probing the 1,210 – 1,250 point range to establish a clearer trend.

• US Market:
  On April 15, 2025, US stock markets saw slight fluctuations as investors awaited clearer signals from trade negotiations. The Dow Jones dropped 0.4% (155.83 points) to 40,368.96, S&P 500 fell 0.2% to 5,396.63, and Nasdaq dipped slightly under 0.1% to 16,823.17. Despite positive earnings from major banks, market sentiment remained cautious due to US-China trade tensions. Boeing shares dropped 2.4% after China advised airlines not to purchase new planes, fueling concerns about trade conflicts. Meanwhile, tech stocks like Palantir and Netflix recorded notable gains due to positive news regarding tech developments and growth plans.

2. Forex

• USD/CAD has formed a short-term bottom and is recovering; buying opportunities are considered today. Daily support at 1.39100.

• AUD/USD has formed a short-term top and is undergoing a downward correction; selling positions may be initiated. Daily resistance at 0.63730.

3. Gold:

Spot gold on the international market is at $3,275.5/ounce, down $60.3 compared to this morning.

4. Oil:

XTI/USD is in a consolidation zone, awaiting breakout. Trading is limited today.

5. Crypto – BTC:

Bitcoin price is currently $83,427, down 2.2% compared to yesterday morning.
