MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market:

• Vietnam Market: The market faced resistance at the 1,340 – 1,350-point range, preventing further upward momentum. Liquidity declined but remained high, indicating cautious capital flow amid ongoing profit-taking pressure. Currently, the market is in a rebalancing phase, fluctuating within the 1,320 – 1,340-point range after an extended rally. Further corrections may occur, but support around 1,320 points is expected before a potential rebound.

• U.S. Market: On March 18, 2025, U.S. stocks declined after two consecutive gaining sessions. The Dow Jones dropped 0.62% to 41,581.31 points, the S&P 500 fell 1.07% to 5,614.66 points, and the Nasdaq plunged 1.71% to 17,504.12 points. Major tech stocks, including Tesla, Palantir, and Nvidia, tumbled, with Tesla losing over 5% due to a downgraded price forecast amid increasing competition in the EV sector.

2. Forex Market:

• EUR/USD: The uptrend remains intact but shows signs of stalling and potential reversal. No clear trading signals today; trading should be limited.

• USD/JPY: The uptrend continues, but a pullback may occur after three consecutive bullish days. Traders may consider short-selling for short-term profits or buying above 149.60.

• USD/CAD: The downtrend persists, but an upward correction is expected today. Short-term buying opportunities may arise.

3. Gold:

By the end of the March 18 session, spot gold rose 1.2% to $3,037.38/oz after reaching a high of $3,028.24/oz earlier in the session. Gold surpassed the $3,000/oz mark for the first time on March 14.

5. Crypto:

EOS was traded at $0.5621 at 05:52 AM (22:52 GMT) according to Investing.com Index, marking an 11.87% increase for the day. This was the strongest one-day gain since March 2, 2025. This price surge pushed EOS’s market cap to $810.9649 million, accounting for 0.04% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. EOS's all-time high market capitalization was $17.5290 billion.
