MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market:

   • Vietnam Market: The market experienced strong fluctuations but quickly found support at the 1,320-point level and recovered. Liquidity decreased but remained relatively high, indicating stable supporting cash flow. Recovery signals suggest a positive trend, while adjustments may only be rebalancing. The market is expected to continue being supported, aiming for the 1,350-point zone.

   • US Market: The market dropped sharply due to concerns over trade tensions. The Dow Jones lost 1.1%, the S&P 500 fell 0.8%, and the Nasdaq declined by 0.2%. Investors reacted negatively after President Trump announced new tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Canada. Rising instability pushed the VIX volatility index above 29, reflecting market anxiety.

2. Forex:

   • EUR/USD: After a strong rally last week, there are signs of a short-term correction today, suggesting a potential sell position.

   • USD/JPY: There are signs of a price increase from the short-term bottom. Today, a buy position could be considered, but it’s advisable to wait for the price to recover to the 147.60 zone.

3. Gold:

   • Global gold prices rose by 1% due to a weakening USD and recession fears. By the end of the trading session on March 11, spot gold contracts advanced 1% to $2,179.79/oz\ast$
