U.S. Stocks Pull Back, Gold Holds High – Are Investors Turning to Crypto?

Release Time: 10:00, September 25, 2025
Publisher: Mr. Leon

MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market:

  • Vietnam Market:
The VN-Index found support around 1,620 points and rebounded with higher liquidity, signaling that selling pressure remains weak while buying momentum is improving. This strength helped the market approach the MA(20) level around 1,663 points, which could be broken in upcoming sessions. However, potential supply pressure still lingers. For a sustainable uptrend, capital inflows need to strongly absorb supply and maintain stability above MA(20).

  • U.S. Market:
The S&P 500 fell about 0.3%, Nasdaq lost nearly 0.5%, and Dow Jones slipped around 0.2%. The main pressure came from the tech sector as investors took profits after a strong rally. In addition, Fed Chair Powell’s latest remarks highlighted that stock valuations remain elevated and the Fed has not yet given a clear signal on the timing of rate cuts, leading to more cautious market sentiment.

2. Forex:

  • USD/JPY: Uptrend; long positions possible today. Daily support: 148.500

  • GBP/USD: Downtrend; short positions possible today. Daily resistance: 1.35000

3. Gold:

  • Gold remains elevated, trading near historic highs, supported by expectations of continued Fed rate cuts and ongoing geopolitical risks.

  • Spot gold: ~$3,734.04/oz

  • December gold futures: ~$3,765.20/oz

4. Bitcoin:

  • BTC is currently trading around $112,779, up ~0.563% from the previous session.
