MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Markets:

• Vietnam: The market experienced a sharp decline but quickly found support near the 1,080-point level, close to the lows of April 2020 and November 2022, and then rebounded. Rising liquidity indicates strong selling pressure but also robust bargain-hunting demand. The current support signal has helped the market stop falling, but a strong recovery is not yet confirmed. The market is expected to retest the 1,080 support level before a stronger rebound can occur.

• U.S. Stock Market: U.S. stocks surged after President Trump announced a 90-day suspension of new tariffs. The Dow Jones rose by 2,900 points, while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 also posted strong gains. However, risks remain due to the long-term impact of trade tensions. Investors should stay cautious amid upcoming volatility.
