MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market:

  • Vietnam Market:
The Vietnamese market is showing a slight recovery, approaching the MA(20) level around 1,652 points. Declining liquidity indicates that supply pressure has temporarily eased. The recovery signal reflects an effort to rebalance after a sharp decline, but low liquidity may limit upward momentum. The market is expected to continue its short-term recovery, though supply pressure around the 1,652-point level could return and weigh on the trend.

  • U.S. Market:
U.S. stocks continued to climb with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq hitting new record highs, while the Dow Jones lagged due to weakness in consumer stocks. August PPI unexpectedly fell -0.1% (vs. forecast of +0.3%), easing inflation pressures and reinforcing expectations that the Fed will cut rates at its upcoming meeting. Oracle surged after forecasting strong cloud infrastructure revenue, boosting the tech sector, while slightly lower bond yields also supported market sentiment.

2. Forex

  • GBP/USD: short-term bearish trend, daily resistance at 1.35400

  • USD/JPY: short-term bullish trend, daily support at 147.200

3. Gold

  • Spot gold continues to hit record highs, reaching around $3,642.93/oz, supported by Fed rate cut expectations and U.S. inflation concerns.

  • Previously, gold had touched $3,673.95/oz, marking a historic milestone.

  • ANZ recently raised its year-end gold forecast to $3,800/oz, with potential to reach $4,000/oz by mid-2026, fueled by central bank demand, a weaker dollar, and looser monetary policy.

  • In summary, gold has surged ~38–40% since the start of 2025, driven by safe-haven flows and rate cut expectations.

4. Oil

  • XTI/USD: short-term bullish trend. Buy opportunities on pullbacks, daily support at 62.70.

5. Bitcoin

  • Current price: around $113,920, up sharply by +2.29% from the previous close.
