MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Markets:

• Vietnam: The market continues to recover but remains cautious as it approaches the MA(20) around 1,698 points, forming a star-type candlestick that suggests support is still present. Liquidity has declined, indicating supply pressure hasn’t intensified, which gives money flow the chance to support the market. Selling pressure at this resistance has weakened compared to previous moves, opening the possibility of the market revisiting the 1,700–1,730 zone in upcoming sessions.

• U.S.: On 29/10/2025, U.S. markets moved divergently: the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell about 0.2% to 47,632; the S&P 500 was virtually unchanged at 6,890.59; the Nasdaq Composite rose about 0.5% to 23,958.47. The Federal Reserve cut interest rates by another 0.25 percentage point to 3.75%–4.00%, marking the second cut this year. The U.S. equity market responded with light gains but remains cautious as employment and inflation data are not yet clear enough to confirm a long-term upward trend.

2. Forex:

• USD/JPY: Downward bias; short positions possible. Daily resistance ~153.000.

• GBP/USD: Upward bias; long positions possible. Daily support ~1.33200.

3. Gold:

• Current price: around US $4,112/oz.

• Outlook: Safe-haven demand remains strong, but gold is facing near-term key resistance (~US $4,150–4,200). If it fails to break above this zone, a mild correction may occur before further upside.

4. Oil (WTI):

• Current price estimate: around US $60.15–60.30 per barrel.

• Outlook: Oil is holding at a relative support zone but is under downward pressure. If supply or economic data turn negative, the risk of a deeper correction increases.

5. Bitcoin (BTC):

• Current price: around US $111,000.

• Outlook: Bitcoin is consolidating after its recovery. The resistance zone of ~US $115,000 is a key test; if broken decisively, the medium-term uptrend could resume.
