MARKET OVERVIEW
1. Stock Market:
Vietnam Market: The market is currently supported around 1,750 points. Although there have been attempts to recover, they have not yet succeeded due to profit-taking pressure. The recent two-session correction is considered normal after a rapid rise toward 1,800 points. It is expected that the market will need more time to rebalance and attract capital inflows before potentially recovering and retesting the 1,800-point zone.
U.S. Market: On October 15, U.S. stocks closed mixed but with a positive tone: S&P 500 rose about 0.4%, Nasdaq gained 0.7%, while Dow Jones slipped 0.1%. Gains were supported by strong Q3 earnings from major banks and the rally of tech stocks — especially chipmakers. However, ongoing U.S.–China trade tensions remain a potential risk in the coming sessions.
